climateadaptation: I see these dogs a lot downtown. This nice shot was taken in my hometown of Northampton, Massachusetts by local blogger http://markleidner.tumblr.com.  Whenever I walk by this truck (most times it’s without the cab), I’m tempted to go over and pet them, but never do because I’m too afraid that they’ll tear my arm out of the socket and shred the bones to bits and then the owner would come over and put me out of my misery with his shotgun and he’d get away with it by claiming self-defense. Errrrm, yyyeah, so there’s that.  i love these sled dog trucks! :P I always forget there are teams right here in MA. :) oh and um to the comment above. im not sure why you think the dogs would tear your arm off, but yeah it is a  good idea never to pet a dog without the owners permission b/c one it is rude and two you don’t know how the dog will react. I’m sure if you ask the owner will be more than happy to introduce you. Huskies are wonderful dogs! :)
